Blake Lane is good for healthy-ish food” poke bowls, avocado
toast… even tahini toast. It works
especially well as a place to go before or after visiting The Met – it’s pretty
much straight east, but far enough away that you don’t have to contend with the
tourist crowds. It’s better for lunch
than for dinner, as I would not recommend the drinks (fail with both cocktail
and wine samplings), and really shines for breakfast.
I would come here with a friend, not a date; although it is
a nice option for those with special eating habits, catering equally well to
gluten-free, vegetarians, or paleo folks.
It’s also cute, and had made itself an instagramable spot.
